  1. Draw the Bisector AD of < A
    So BD / DC = AB / AC
    So BD / (24 - BD) = 7 / 25 from which
    BD = 21/4

    Hence ABD is easily seen to be a 3-4-5 Triangle
    and < BAD = 36.87 = 37 degrees approximately

    Therefore <A = 37 X 2 = 74 degrees
