Extend BC and GF at P. S=S(ABPG)-1/2 S(ABPG)-1/2 S(DEFG)-S(CPFE)-S(BCE)
ReplyDeleteS= 36
How did you calculate S(BCE)?
Deleteyou have nothing to calculate.
name AD = a
DeleteS = [(a+6)∙a] - [1/2(a+6)∙a] - [1/2(6∙6)] - [(a-6)∙6] - [1/2(a-6)∙a]

ReplyDeleteDraw rectangle BDHK as shown on the sketch
Area(BGE)= ½. EG*BK= ½. DH*EG= area(EDG)
= ½. 6*6= 18
Problem 1332
ReplyDeleteIs BD//EG then (EBG)=(EDG)=DE.DG/2=6.6/2=18.
