    ▲FGB ~ ▲BDC => FG/DC = BF/BC (α = α, ß = ß )
    ▲BFJ ~ ▲ABC => FJ/AC = BF/BC (α = α, B common)
    =>
    FG/DC = FJ/AC
    5/0.5 AC = (8+x)/AC
    10 = 8 + x

    x = 2

    just observe that BFGJ is similar to BCDA, than FG/GJ=CD/DA=1 and x=5-3=2
