  1. BC = BE radii of the same circle DE = DF radii of the same circle. also triangle DAB is equilateral so DA = DB. this implies that DF - DA = DE - DB. this implies that AF = BE. but BE = BC as they are radii of the same circle. so this implies that
    AF = BC.
