  1. From E draw a line parallel to AB (& DC) meeting FG in H. Now triangles FBM a& EMH are similar. Hence Tr FBM/Tr.EMH =BF^2/EH^2 = a^2/(ka)^2 or
    S1 = Tr. EMH/k^2 Similarly S2 = Tr.ENH/k^2 Hence, S1+S2 = Tr. EMH/k^2 + Tr.ENH/k^2
    = Tr. EMH/k^2
    or S1 + S2 = Tr. EMH/k^2 = S/k^2. Hence etc.
